Classes receive top priority on the NMR and will reserve time the week prior to its use.
Users may reserve 20-minute time slots Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
No group can reserve more than 60 continuous minutes of NMR time except for off-peak hours.
Users should avoid long timescale experiments during regular working hours (8:00 am - 6:00 pm) - longer experiments can run in the evening or over the weekend (keeping in mind that users shouldn't be working alone). Overnight experiments should not start until 6:00 pm and must be finished by 8:00 am the next morning.
The high volume of NMR usage necessitates morning schedule blocks during the summer:
9:20 - 10:20 am - Dr. Russell
10:20 - 11:20 am - Dr. Onorato
11:20 am - 12:20 pm - Dr. Kempton
12:20 pm - 1:20 pm - Dr. Ma
Users who do not comply with the rules may lose the privilege of reserving time.
