Description:

The Constitutional Litigation Clinic offers eight Chase students a hands-on experience litigating civil rights cases on behalf of prisoners and former offenders in Ohio state and federal courts. The Ohio Justice & Policy Center created this Clinic in partnership with the Greater Cincinnati Foundation and the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ. Students handle all aspects of cases, from client interviews through trials and appellate brief writing and argument.

The Constitutional Litigation Clinic requires a year-long commitment. Each student must be certified as a legal intern by the Supreme Court of Ohio. Through this Clinic, students and supervising OJPC attorneys open doors for clients and provide real opportunities for second chances - helping reclaim their lives and restore our communities.

Interested students should submit a letter of interest, a transcript, and a writing sample to LaToya Bell, Esq., via email (lbell@ohiojpc.org).
